The Wiccan Rede
Bide the Wiccan Laws we must In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Live and let live. Fairly take and fairly give. Cast the Circle thrice about To keep the evil spirits out. To bind the spell every time Let the spell be spake in rhyme. Soft of eye and light of touch, Speak little, listen much. Deosil go by the waxing moon, Chanting out the Witches' Rune. Widdershins go by the waning moon, Chanting out the baneful rune. When the Lady's moon is new, Kiss the hand to her, times two. When the moon rides at her peak, Then your heart's desire seek, Heed the North wind's mighty gale, Lock the door and drop the sail. When the wind comes from the South, Love will kiss thee on the mouth. When the wind blows from the West, Departed souls will have no rest. When the wind blows from the East, Expect the new and set the feast. Nine woods in the cauldron go, Burn them fast and burn them slow. Elder be the Lady's tree, Burn it not or cursed you'll be. When the Wheel begins to turn, Let the Beltane fires burn. When the Wheel has turned to Yule, Light the log and the Horned One rules. Heed ye Flower, Bush and Tree, By the Lady, blessed be. Where the rippling waters go, Cast a stone and truth you'll know. When ye have a true need, Hearken not to others' greed. With a fool no season spend, Lest ye be counted as his friend. Merry meet and merry part, Bright the cheeks and warm the heart. Mind the Threefold Law you should, Three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is enow, Wear the blue star on thy brow. True in Love ever be, Lest thy lover's false to thee. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An ye harm none, do what ye will.

D-Day Remembered…
Of course I do not remember it but my Father does at 84. Although my Father served in the Pacific front, he remembers those that served the Atlantic front. This is a day we remember those that fought for our right to exist. That we would not go down quietly, without hearing our voices from all walks of life. This is not an American day, but a day the whole world, every nation honors and respects those men and women that fought and or fell this day June 6th, 1944.

Remember Amos ‘n’ Andy
Now there is Onyx n Andy – just took me me a little while to fix on the title.
Pests…
Jim is having all kinds of fun with his pesky “Wood Peckers”, I do have the woodpeckers around here, but they have been extremely nice to me. This reminds me of a blog I just read about concerning getting rid of bees. This is Tom Gaylord’s experience with Carpenter Bees. If reminds me of my days all but gone by, when I would shoot flies outside on my back porch.
Mail Call…
Yes Sir Chaim at Catrike sent out the care package with haste. Got my parts for the fenders and decals to boot. Now that is service and support at it’s best. Thank Ya, Thank Ya, Thank Ya.
I just noticed that Catrike has a new video titled, “One Day of Spring at Catrike” (34min 20 sec). It is a nice video everyone should see it.
More on Fonts and Colors…
Well I stand corrected I… I found where the Color and Fonts are located under Blogger. Sign in and view your blog. Then customize. click on the tab “Fonts and Colors”. At first I thought it was just colors… you have to drop all the way to the bottom of the list to get to the font’s. Well I played with them trying to suit me eyes, about that time I noticed an email pop up from Jim through BROL private messages. Yea that works too. He has given me more material to read and digest. Yum, yum. Good words of wisdom so I am passing them on here in my blog.
Jim: “I see you are experimenting with font size. May I suggest the Chicago Manual of Style (http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html) as a guide as you search for the "proper" mix for your blog. Also, One can increase/decrease web page fonts by using <CTRL> +/-. May I also suggest you look at newspaper/magazine blogs for ideas. Generally, Times Roman 10 point fonts are used for ease of readability. Larger or different [fonts] makes reading difficult. Then there is font color.”
I just wished the <CTRL> –/+ worked while in the Windows Live Writer… So I still have a lot to read, hopefully I have not mangled the colors and fonts to bad for now. Please keep those comments and suggestions rolling in. I may almost be a “Jim Jr.” one day.
Added new Blogs to My Blogs List
I have just added another blog to my listing please check them out on my sidebar.
Font Issues with Windows Live Writer
My friend Jim found that: “The default font is not determined by LW, but by the default font of your blog. You should edit using theme. LW then reads your theme and then uses its parameters to control your posts. The help function should give you all you info you need to use the program. There is also support and a forum available. I'd Google for whatever you have not found an answer on.”
So based on this I tore through the 2 blogger I have been using (Blogger and Word Press) looking for setup routines. Yep I have not found I way to setup the fonts. Now I am looking towards designing a theme. Always sometime to keep my mind busy.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday are slanted for much nicer weather – NO RAIN, Yeah.

A Twitter tweeted a request – Change the font!
It is DONE. Though I am still looking for how to setup the default font. At the moment this is the only real problem I see in using Windows Live Writer.
Heavy losses this week.
Well I had my wireless router go out this week and my Sling Pro tv box as well. I guess I am still pretty lucky because I can still watch movies and tv shows online. It could have been worse I could have lost the modem too. Another wireless router is about $40.00 and I can pickup a usb tv box for about $50.00. Now where is that tooth fairy!
Looking for a Tent
I was thinking going to a local state park – Wind Creek just outside Alexander City, Alabama. After looking at their website and saw camping available with approved camping gear – I decided I need to find out what is considered approved camping gear. Well my 12x12 foot tarp is not approved as a camping tent. They want closed sides and flooring. Darn! So after measuring Onyx I come up with a minimum size I think “we” can handle. It is 6x9x4 in feet. The tent need to be as light weight as possible since I will be hauling on my rear rack, along with a sleeping bag and panniers chock full of equipment and food and water. My biggest problem I have is without my Social Security benefits package I am still without an income since July 2008 and not working since November 2007, this makes things real tuff.

Catrike care package…Yeah
Chaim at Catrike HQ is sending me a care package.
After I washed Onyx up after my first trip home I noticed that some of the decals was starting to peel off. Ouch! So Chaim came to the rescue and is sending me another set. I also lost two (2) plastic thread nuts that keep the fenders from rattling off. He popped them in them in the care package too… Thank you all very much.
A little music if you please.
Ok I have added a little music to my blog site. Just follow the info on the top of the sidebar. Enjoy. Just remember the playlist and controls are at the bottom of the blog. The blog site is slowly getting there.
Using Windows Live Writer now.
Okay I am now starting to use Windows Live Writer to post to my blogger account. It does not seem to be as buggy as the posting tool Blogger uses. I also have I handy tool that creates a twitter link which is nice. As you can see I am play around with the font right now, I may come back and change it to a regular font later. I have been burning a few hours playing with these bloggers, as of lately. I wonder if I will even be as good as Jim with his blog site. I also have a links located under the Internet Links and under the My Blog List which watches for current postings, also have some clips or Current Events You can find all this on the sidebar. If you want to know something chances are Jim has got it. If you are watching Jim, many thanks for your friendship and guidance.
Andy’s B-40 from Mike Melick.
Last year about this time I was able to order a BAM-40 Air Rifle from Mike Melick. He did an excellent job tuning and setup the rifle. I put a 3×9x40 scope on her and she is sweet. Err I am talking about the rifle, though I am sure the girl holding the rifle below is too.
The BAM XS-B40 is the finest spring rifle from Xisico out of China. It is a version of a highly popular European series gun. This is a good general-purpose rifle and also a very good spring rifle for the field target use. This new version takes spring-powered air rifles to a new dimension. In addition, the new model also has it own built in sound suppressor. My choice was a .22 caliber, it is rated at 850 fps weighing in at 9.2 pounds with out scope. It is 41 inches long. Accuracy is rated to be within quarter inch diameter at 10 meters.
Thanks Mike a year later and she is still a sweet rifle. I shoot the tops off medicine bottles at twice that distance.
Shooting my rifle is one of the few pleasures I have as a hold over from the Corps. As I grown older I have moved away from shooting at live victims. Though in my hay day the prairie dogs did not stand a chance. Then I owned a Sheridan Blue Streak a .20 caliber pump air rifle. Now I shoot at “Mo”. He is a metal target as your accuracy increases, you can reduce the kill-zone by inserting one of the reducers. The kill-zone without a reducer is 2-1/2″ wide. The reducers take the kill zone down to 1-1/8″, 3/4″, 1/2″ and 3/8″ Here is a picture of “Mo”.
That's all for now, more adventures later.
Got rid of Blogger slideshow
