Have not gone to bed this month been on a marathon. Watched Moonlight, TrueBlood, Blood Ties, Fringe, and Now NCIS. Before that I watched all of Dr. Quinn. Not sure why but going non-stop. Testing “The rule of 3”, 3 weeks w/o food 3 days w/o water, 3 hours in extreme weather and 3 minutes w/o air. Short of burying myself, I can test my strength with the others items. I have not eaten much this week and cut my water way back. So I am doing sorta of Survival training. Got 3 more season to catch up on with NCIS. I Must confess I am quite weak, headaches, and sick to my stomach. Wondering when I will finally crash. My mind will not shutdown it just goes and goes., I feel like the battery bunny, going and going.

The Wiccan Rede
Bide the Wiccan Laws we must In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. Live and let live. Fairly take and fairly give. Cast the Circle thrice about To keep the evil spirits out. To bind the spell every time Let the spell be spake in rhyme. Soft of eye and light of touch, Speak little, listen much. Deosil go by the waxing moon, Chanting out the Witches' Rune. Widdershins go by the waning moon, Chanting out the baneful rune. When the Lady's moon is new, Kiss the hand to her, times two. When the moon rides at her peak, Then your heart's desire seek, Heed the North wind's mighty gale, Lock the door and drop the sail. When the wind comes from the South, Love will kiss thee on the mouth. When the wind blows from the West, Departed souls will have no rest. When the wind blows from the East, Expect the new and set the feast. Nine woods in the cauldron go, Burn them fast and burn them slow. Elder be the Lady's tree, Burn it not or cursed you'll be. When the Wheel begins to turn, Let the Beltane fires burn. When the Wheel has turned to Yule, Light the log and the Horned One rules. Heed ye Flower, Bush and Tree, By the Lady, blessed be. Where the rippling waters go, Cast a stone and truth you'll know. When ye have a true need, Hearken not to others' greed. With a fool no season spend, Lest ye be counted as his friend. Merry meet and merry part, Bright the cheeks and warm the heart. Mind the Threefold Law you should, Three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is enow, Wear the blue star on thy brow. True in Love ever be, Lest thy lover's false to thee. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An ye harm none, do what ye will.

New AirGun Polling.
We interrupt the previous poll to introduce this hot new poll on Airguns. Three rifles are entered into this polling. The RWS 850, Gamo Extreme Co2 and of course the new hottest member on the market the Benjamin Marauder. Please take your time to participate and vote your choice!
Eyes on the Benjamin Marauder.
The No. 1 airgun that America has been waiting to buy! Very limited quantities .177=1100 fps, .22=1000 fps 10-shot auto-indexing repeater Shrouded barrel--VERY quiet 2,000 to 3,000 psi--YOU select the pressure Dual Fuel...can also run on CO2 Built-in pressure gauge Really accurate choked barrel 2-stage adj. MATCH trigger...and it's metal Hunt, dispatch pests, shoot spinners, pop tin cans & more Made in America! Checkout the Crosman site.
Checkout Pyramyd Air.com for info and it’s accessories. for the Marauder. Also look at Air guns – Pyramyd Air Report, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.
Following up on the popular Benjamin® Discovery PCP air rifle comes the revolutionary Benjamin® Marauder! This powerful new PCP air rifle offers all the features needed for field target shooting and small game hunting.
The Marauder features a Crosman Custom choked barrel and internal shroud for unsurpassed accuracy and ultra quiet operation. The new two stage adjustable, match grade trigger pack with a metal trigger makes every shot smooth and steady. The Marauder also has a raised aluminum breech with a heavy duty pull bolt making loading the gun and mounting a scope a snap. The Marauder is also a Multi-Shot rifle with the new 10 shot auto indexing clip. This gun also operates at fill pressures between 2,000 and 3,000 psi. This rifle can be filled with the Benjamin® hand pump or a high pressure tank.
This powerful and exciting air rifle will once again set Benjamin® as the value to performance leader in the PCP category.
This is the Benjamin Marauder, Crosman’s second PCP rifle. The bottom rifle is their first a Benjamin Discovery.
The stock on the Marauder is walnut with laser cut checkering on the pistol grip and forestock, and is ambidextrous with a raised comb that yielded a good sight alignment through a Centerpoint 3-9x40 30 mm scope with medium profile mounts.
The Marauder uses a proprietary ten shot rotary magazine, which is indexed as the bolt is pushed forward after cycling. The first thing to mention is that my prototype gun dismounts the magazine to the left hand side of the gun, whereas in the production gun the magazine will be removed from the right. When the bolt is pulled all the way rearward, the magazine is simply pushed out. After loading the process is reversed, and again the bolt has to be positioned fully to the rear. The magazine is fairly easy to load once you get used to it, though it does take a little practice being neither the easiest or most difficult I’ve come across.
The Benjamin name is on the bottom of the forearm it looks so good so everyone knows the pride of this rifle.
The gauge is calibrated to 3000 psi. The hex screw that attaches the action to the stock is seen just ahead of the trigger guard.
As with the Disco, the Marauder fills using a quick connect Foster type fitting.
Above is the Benjamin Marauder with the CenterPoint 8-32X56 scope, this is an impressive air rifle with this scope.
3-stage hand pump; Made specifically for the Benjamin Discovery; Includes the Discovery's required female Foster quick-disconnect on the end of the pump hose; Goes up to 3600 psi (although the Discovery operates on a max pressure of 2000 psi); With other hoses, pump can be adapted to other PCPs; Requires less effort than other pumps; Integral air pressure gauge; Moisture filter.

A Good Day Today, I Guess.
I Rode “Onyx” 5 (five) miles today. The Pollen count must be high today really driving my sinuses crazy. I even went out and shot a few targets with my BAM-40 Air Rifle, Still have good tight groups. Time to move my targets back.
Which would you choose?
Icom offers IC-703 at $750.00 and the Yaesu FT-857D at $710.
YAESU FT-857D is a HF/50/144/440MHz Compact All-Mode Mobile/Base Transceiver, 100W, RX: 0.1~56, 76~108, 118~164, 420~470 MHz, 200 Memory, DSP-2 **$20 Instant Coupon Included in Price & Free YSK-857 Separation Kit until 8/31/09**
ICOM IV703 Plus HF/50 MHz. All Mode Base Portable Transceiver, 10 Watts, RX: 0.030 - 60.000 MHz, Antenna Tuner, 105 Memory ** $20 Icom Mail-in Rebate Till 09/30/09 **
Poll results FT817 vs. FT857.
The poll is closed now. The Yaesu FT-857 run ahead of the Yaesu FT-817 through most of the poll. In the last day of the polling the FT-817 managed to tie up with the FT-857. What is most surprising is the fact that Buddipole which is a manual adjustment antenna was voted on twice as much as the ATAS-120 automatic tuned antenna. Thank you to taking part in my poll.
