My Profile Update



I am always adding and modifying my profile. Please stop my more than once.

Strange how a lot of people are always looking for that special someone, trying to fit them into a pre-defined mold. Just hoping that doing so they will not get bit again (if you know what I mean). The honest answer is to be looking through the eyes of Yashewa (Jesus)... Remember that phrase "WWJD"... Just say "Hi" be open minded; look with an open loving heart and honestly pray... We are taught to take everything to the LORD in prayer. You might just surprise yourself in what you discover.

Okay here is my Self-Summary...

I graduated from Bossier City High, Bossier City, LA 1975.
My Military Service: USMC Vietnam Vet. 1975-1980
Attended Arizona Western College, Yuma AZ 1980-1981

I am Currently Retired/Disabled and Enjoying Life and a NEW Lifestyle. I recently have moved to Missouri for a change and to be closer to a dear friend and family. With 24 years of marriage and family behind me, I am learning how to just breath again. So I currently live in Mansfield, MO on a small farm, living in a 15 foot camper trailer that provides all the luxuries I need. Except a Teacup Chihuahua, and a Loving Woman. I desperately miss my little Sugar Marie, and the hands and warmth of a good Woman.

A NEW Lifestyle
I have found the Way. I have studied and/or followed many religions, Church of Nazarene, Four Square Gospel, Baptist, Protestant, Catholic, Assembly of GOD, Wicca, Jewish, and Messianic Jews, so I have got the basic ideas and theories behind these religions. In each one I was not finding the peace, love and truth that I inherently feel inside me. Like living the "Golden Rule", before I was taught the rule. Knowing and feeling YHWH and Yashewa is in all things. "Even the rocks cry out his Name" (Luke 19:40). I believe in YHWH (GOD), Yashewa (Jesus), my Lord, my personal Redeemer, my Savior and Savior yet to come. I have come to worship Sabbath on the 7th day of the week, (Friday sundown to Saturday sundown). I am not Jewish or follow the traditional Jewish laws, I fall more into the Messianic Judaism, or of The Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) which states that Jesus is part of the Trinity, and salvation is only achieved only through acceptance of Jesus as one's savior. Any Jewish law or customs that are followed are cultural and do not contribute to attaining salvation. Messianic Judaism's belief in the role and divinity of Jesus is seen by Christian denominations and Jewish religious movements as being the defining distinction between Christianity and Judaism. Mainstream Christian groups generally accept Messianic Judaism as a form of Christianity. This leaves me in neither as a tradition Christian or Jew, I have just found the Way.

I do live the "Golden Rule" and yearn in Genesis 2:24: Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become ONE. I now seek for that "Woman" that wants to know the meaning of what it means for a Man to "hold fast and they shall become ONE".

My other interests and hobbies:

If you still reading my profile and you are interested, I love to target practice with my air rifle and cycling with Onyx my recumbent trike, I love bushcraft - the art of surviving in the woods. Of course I spend more time on the computer than I should.

Interests -
Air Rifles and Shooting - I own a nice air rifle with a 3x9 scope. It allows me to hits 1/4 inch targets at 50-75 ft.

Amateur Radio - I own a ICOM V8000 2 meter radio, I currently have it in the trailer and am looking to put another in the truck soon. If you are around this area I monitor frequency 147.090.
My call sign is KF4SWS.

Cycling - I own I recumbent tadpole trike, a Cat Trike Expedition model. I must admit with this hit wave I have not even thought about getting a ride in the summer.

Bush Crafting - Well I am adjusting to Missouri weather and the climate but I did get a 3 day camping trip in back in May/June.

Computers - What more can I say it is a major part of my life till I find that Sweet Angel. Besides being on the net and watching movies and shows I like to mess around with Submarine Simulations and Flight Simulators (FMS).

R/C Flying - Most recently started flying r/c models again with a Amateur Radio buddy. At the moment I am just honing my skills on the flight simulator. I have my eye on a 40" Electric Piper J3 Cub, maybe next month. But I really enjoy the Grumman models The Goose, Wigeon, and Mallard models not to mention the PBY Catalina's.

Movies - Ghost, Hope Floats, Twilight Movies, 50 First Dates, Message in a Bottle, Pretty Woman, Quigley Down Under. I also lean towards sci-fi (syfy)... I do like to watch a good movie - I can find a romance in most any movie. I certainly have seen more movies than I could list here.

Music - The 50's 60's and 70's mainly country and pop.

Above all I am a YHWH fearing and loving Man. I enjoy Christian songs and studies. I am blessed more than some and praise Yashewa for all that I have and all that will be. I hope to be a beacon for others to find peace and love. I am somewhat different than when I was in the Corps. But "maturity" does come with time.

I’m really good at
I am good at Listening, Long Walks, Snuggling. I love animals especially wolves, and dogs (yes, cute teacup chihuahuas). I like to play Monopoly, Scrabble, Backgammon, not much on cards games but willing to play. Just name it. I like to window shop and eat and most important I am good with patiences... lots of that.

I have 4 out of 6, not bad but, the last 2 things on the list mean almost as much as the 1st item on the list. Read Genesis 2-24 this is part of the Master's plan.... Family is always important!

Thinking about all these crazy questions on OKCupid. wondering were my mind is and what frame of mind I am in while answering them all.

Who is Andy...

Hi,
I love Kat and my little Tina. They get most of my attention! When I am on "here" it is on my Android based Tablet and not the "Laptop". Kat usually is playing on that! Bottom line is that I don't get the "bells and whistles" that most of ya all see!! Would love to have a second computer so bad.

I am Andrew James Elliott Jr., have be called many different names, Junior, BooBoo, Andrew, Anj, Andy, James, Elliott and a few others. I just hate being called late for Supper, LOL.

I love to target practice with my air rifle and cycling with Onyx my recumbent trike (lost her this in 2011), I love bushcraft - the art of surviving in the woods. Of course I spend more time on the computer than I should. I was injuried back in 2007, I have lost most of what I had like most of us have lately. Married 3 times and with up to 24 years of marriage and family behind me, I am learning how to just breath.

So Yes I am divorced, I am not Married. I have 5 children out there somewhere all grown and on their own. I live on SSDI which is not much, but I know their are many with less than I. So I am Thankful. With the government and economy the way it is I could lose this at a stroke of a pen. Life is ever changing, to survive you must learn to adapt and over come.

I truly hate being alone. With all the single people out here looking for companionship and love it does not make any sense. So 2011 brought me two special lives into my life!

On January 19th, 2011, I brought Tina, my 4 pound chihuahua, into my life, she is so beautihul and sweet. She alone hates being alone as bad as I do!

And on June 28th, 2011, I found an amazing Woman, You all know her as Kathy, to me she is my "Kat" No words can describe what she does to me. I can not think about life without her. I am blessed with the ability to be with her 24/7, enjoying all that she brings to my life. Thank you Kat! I love You!

No we are not married, it seems life just likes to keep putting hurdles in the way. It made more sense to be together than apart, so you might say we live in "sin", but as long as we are happy at our age it should not matter that much. Maybe someday, when the moon is perfectly aligned with the stars and by the grace of God, we will say our "I DO's." I LOVE KAT. I know we will always be together. I am not perfect, but I always try to put other people first.

Interests - Cooking, Air Rifles, Shooting, Amateur Radio, Cycling, Bushcrafting, Computers, Sub Sims, Flying Sims.
Movies - Ghost, Hope Floats, Twilight Movies, 50 First Dates, I Lean towards Sci-Fi and Fantasy or course a touch of Romance in all. Being a Marine a good war movie is not bad either.
Music - The 50's 60's and 70's mainly (that makes me feel 18 all over again).
Religion - I was raised Penacostal, been Baptist, Catholic, and many other sects. In 2007 after I was injured and I had to find who I really was and why I am here on this earth. I started studying religions tracing it back to the known beginning. Pagan worship is the basis of all religions even today. Do you really know who was born on December 25th or why it is cellebrated today? Or who really rose on Easter day. Study it for yourself. I have and I was terribly upset when I realized that the pastors and priests throughout my life were either as blind as I was or knew the truth but trained us to believe in their truth, Yes the truth will set you free in deed. Please study, read, draw you own conclusions. So am I Christian?, No I am not, I have always been Pagan and just did not know it and was told differently.

Like I have said before I hate being alone, So I am on my computer and my tablet most of the time to share my life with you and hopefully yours with me. I respect people I try to treat people the way I would like to be treated no matter how I am treated. Live Free and Harm None. So thanks for being my Friend and being here with me :o)
